Renting with Git-R-Stored is easy! Simply give us a call at (814) 672-5362 or send us a message through our contact page. We’ll discuss your storage needs, help you choose the right unit size, and get you set up with a rental agreement. The whole process typically takes just a few minutes!
To complete your rental, you’ll need:
- Valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
- Contact information (phone number and email)
- Payment for first month’s rent plus security deposit
- You’ll need to provide your own lock for your unit. We recommend a heavy-duty disc lock or cylinder lock for best security.
Absolutely! Give us a call and we can reserve a unit for you. We understand that moving timelines can be unpredictable, and we’re happy to work with your schedule.
Our unit sizes and monthly rates are:
- 6×10: $60/month
- 10×10: $60/month
- 10×12: $100/month
- 10×14: $115/month
- 10×15: $70/month
- 10×20: $80/month
- 10×30: $90/month – Best value!
No, we do not require a security deposit. Simply pay the first month’s rent to get started!
Rent is due on the first of each month. We’ll work with you to set up a payment method that’s convenient for you.
Nope! We believe in straightforward pricing. You pay the monthly rent—that’s it. No administrative fees, no surprise charges. Just honest, affordable storage.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Need to grab something at 3am on a Sunday? No problem. Want to load up your unit at 6pm on a holiday? Go right ahead. Your schedule is our schedule.
Yes, you’ll need to provide your own lock for your unit. We recommend a heavy-duty disc lock or cylinder lock for best security. You’re the only one with the key or combination—we don’t keep copies.
You can store most household items, furniture, boxes, business inventory, equipment, and more. Common items include:
- Furniture and appliances
- Seasonal decorations and clothing
- Tools and equipment
- Business inventory and files
- Sports equipment
- Boxes and household goods
For everyone’s safety, we prohibit storage of:
- Hazardous, toxic, or flammable materials
- Explosives or chemical substances
- Inherently dangerous materials
- Odorous materials
- Medical wastes
- Junk tires
- Illegal substances or stolen property
- Perishable food items
- Living things (plants, animals, people)
Our units are not climate-controlled, but they are protected from wind, water, and snow. They’re great for most items, but if you’re storing temperature-sensitive items like electronics or antiques, please give us a call to discuss the best options for your belongings.
While we take security very seriously, we strongly recommend getting insurance for your stored belongings. Many homeowners or renters insurance policies cover items in storage. Check with your insurance provider to see if you’re already covered, or they can add storage coverage to your existing policy.
We offer month-to-month rentals with no long-term commitment required. Rent for one month or ten years—whatever works for you! There’s no penalty for short-term use, and you’re never locked into a contract you don’t want.
To end your rental, you must provide us with written notice at least 15 days before the end of your current rental period. This notice must be delivered to the owner in writing—a phone call alone is not sufficient, though we always appreciate a call as well to let us know you’re moving out!
Make sure your unit is completely empty and clean when you move out. We’d love to receive pictures of the cleaned-out unit once it’s ready—it helps us process your move-out quickly.
Absolutely! If you realize you need more (or less) space, just give us a call. We’ll help you switch to a different size unit based on availability. We’re here to make storage work for you.

Yes! All our facilities are designed for easy drive-up access except for the Brisbin location. Those units are located inside, but you can park near the entrance. No elevators, no hauling items across a parking lot. Just pull right up to your unit and load or unload at your convenience.
We don’t sell moving supplies, but we’re happy to recommend local places where you can pick up boxes, tape, and other packing materials. Most hardware stores and big box retailers in the area carry everything you’ll need!
